In-warranty repairs for our authorised brands are handled directly by us - no need to ship your tool back to the principal or wait weeks for it to come home. Out-of-warranty repairs on almost any brand are also welcome, subject to spare parts availability.
General repair - most other brands
Beyond our authorised brands, our technicians repair most makes of power tool and machinery, including Worcraft, our own Kawa, Welflo, Accubit and Civic ranges, and general market brands. Out-of-warranty repair on any brand is subject to spare parts availability, so bring the tool in or WhatsApp us the model number and we'll tell you straight away whether we can source the parts.

Drop off
Bring your tool to the service centre in SS2, or to any CT Hardware store. Bring your purchase invoice if it's a warranty claim.
Diagnosis
Our technicians strip and inspect the unit at the PJ workshop.
Quotation
We contact you with the repair cost before any work begins. If you decide not to proceed, no repair charge applies.
Repair & collection
Once approved, we repair using genuine spare parts, test the unit, and call you for collection at the store where you dropped it off.
Every tool is stripped and inspected before we quote.

Drop Off at Any of Our Stores
Our workshop in Petaling Jaya is the only place the repair work happens, but you don't have to drive there. Every store below accepts tools for repair and sends them to PJ for you, then calls you when the unit comes back.

Warranty Repairs
If your tool is still under manufacturer warranty and it's a brand we're an authorised service centre for, we handle the claim for you.
Bring:
- The tool, with battery and charger if cordless unit
- Your original purchase invoice showing the purchase date and the model/serial number.
The model and serial number (usually on the tool's nameplate) must match with your invoice/receipt.
Warranty periods and full terms vary by brand, see our Warranty Guidelines for details.
Manufacturer warranties don't typically cover wear items (carbon brushes, switches, gears, blades, discs, bits) or damage from misuse, water ingress, or unauthorised disassembly.
If a claim falls outside warranty, we'll quote you for a paid repair before proceeding.
Genuine Spare Parts
We stock genuine spare parts for the brands we service — the main reason our turnaround beats sending a tool back to the principal. Need a part but plan to do the repair yourself? Walk in with the model number; we sell parts over the counter at all stores.

You can also drop your tool at CT1, CT2, CT4, or the Kärcher Store (for Kärcher products) and we'll send it to the workshop for you.

We inspect the tool first and give you a firm quotation and estimated timeframe before starting any work.

Cost depends on the issue and the parts needed. A small upfront deposit (amount varies by machine) is due when you drop off your tool - this covers our initial labour to strip and inspect it.
We'll then call you with a full quotation before starting any repair. The deposit covers the inspection and isn't refunded if you decide not to proceed; if you go ahead, it's deducted from your final bill.

Yes. CT Hardware is an authorised warranty service centre for Makita, Bosch, DeWalt, Stanley, Black+Decker and Kärcher, as well as our own in-house brands (Worcraft, Kawa, Welflo, Uni-T, etc).

Pump repairs are carried out at our workshop only, we don't currently offer on-site pump servicing (no in-house outdoor service team yet).
