The Makita GA038GZ is a 40Vmax XGT cordless angle grinder for 230mm (9") wheels, built for heavy cutting and grinding on site. Its brushless motor delivers 6,600 rpm and keeps its power under heavy load, with a paddle switch and lock-off lever for safe, easy control.

Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT) turns the motor off if the wheel suddenly slows or binds, and the electric brake stops the wheel fast. This is the bare tool (GZ model), so battery, charger and carrying case are sold separately.
